Job Description
The Senior Manager of Retail Health, Provider and Carbon Partnerships, will support large work-streams within and outside the Healthcare Delivery team to shape and implement CVS partnership models with healthcare providers, particularly the collaboration between CVS Health and Carbon Health. You will help coordinate, execute, and maintain Retail Health to Carbon and other external provider relationships and activities.
You will work with teams across the CVS enterprise and Carbon Health to identify and scope collaboration opportunities and determine the implementation, with the goal of driving synergies between CVS and Carbon Health through product / service integration, connected workflows, and access management strategies. Additionally, you will be involved in implementation and execution to ensure CVS-owned Carbon clinics are opened and support successful operations through tasks such as monitoring KPIs and raising and proposing solutions to challenges.
You will also work with other CVS teams (ACO REACH, Network Strategy, MinuteClinic, Home Health, and other CVS healthcare provider-adjacent teams) to identify external provider group needs and connect those back to Retail Health strategy and product development processes. You will facilitate coordination between the provider and CVS teams to implement collaborations between CVS and the provider.
The Senior Manager will collaborate across the organization to ensure all stakeholder needs are met. You will promote rigorous processes for provider engagement scoping, evaluating financial impacts and operational inputs for execution, and coordinating implementation across multiple stakeholder groups. You will support transformational efforts to ensure we are prepared for long-term future success.
The Senior Manager will be an important role in implementing CVS’ healthcare delivery culture focused on translating and delivering strategy into operational reality. You will analyze and solve problems at a strategic and functional level. The role will work within a matrixed team to collaborate, leverage internal expertise, and achieve results. You will identify and cultivate relationships with all stakeholder groups, both internal and external.
You will report to the Lead Director of Provider Partnerships, to use all of CVS Health's Enterprise assets to help patients on their path to better health.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
  • Self-starter with a roll-your-sleeves up attitude, comfort with new concepts, and ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with ability to synthesize large amounts of information, obtain inputs for hypothesis formulation, and create materials for executive audiences to guide progress and decision-making
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers and leadership including the capacity to anticipate and potential roadblocks and secure necessary solutions
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to structure thinking and execution, with the ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multiple teams simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed to meet deadlines
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • 1+ years of planning and managing multi-process projects, manage regular schedule for reporting progress with manager and important partners, and track and help resolve essential issues
  • Experience with financial modeling on healthcare provider, payer arrangements
  • 2+ years of experience working with directly with healthcare provider groups, including health systems, physician practices, etc.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience contracting with healthcare providers or payers
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry in the provider, payer, or consultant space

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
