Job Description

The Senior Manager II, Political Programs – Corporate Affairs assists with the oversight of the department’s political contributions including management of state PAC and state corporate contribution process; tracking and managing annual budgets; facilitating team meetings; monitoring, reviewing and processing checks sent to candidates; researching contribution details; detailed record keeping of contribution details; determining reporting needs and adjustments in order to support reporting requirements and compliance ; providing support to all aspects of the WALPAC program identifying areas for improvement; and recommending plans to increase department efficiency and effectiveness.


Communicates and provides material for leadership, senior leadership (including WALPAC Advisory Board), internal clients/partners, and external vendors, providing department updates; campaign finance compliance follow up; budget updates through electronic, verbal and written communications. Responsibilities include drafting and sending communications on behalf of supervisors; copy editing communications and receiving, reviewing, and prioritizing incoming messages.


Provides project management support for departmental initiatives by scheduling project activities; monitoring project timelines and budgets; reviewing and implementing processes to increase their efficiency and integration into the business; and developing forms and processes to streamline communication updates and proactively generate project support among relevant stakeholders.

Coordinates, plans, and schedules projects, travel, and events by researching and identifying options, resources, and cost efficiencies; establishing dates, timelines, and agendas; identifying and coordinating specific technology needs; reviewing and updating written guidelines relating to accounting issues of compliance (compliance guidelines); ensuring the communication of and adherence to compliance guidelines; and partnering with cross-functional teams in order to develop and implement processes that help meeting business goals and compliance guidelines.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if

  • You have 5-10 years’ experience in PAC management
  • You have teamwork mentality, strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • You are well versed in state and federal election law
  • You have an in-depth understanding of political and legislative processes
