- Defines product requirements for consumer and business facing features of Nintendo services for implementation with NOA IT and NCL
- Gathers business requirements from production, marketing, and sales to ensure projects meet overall objectives and deadlines
- Collaborates with Business and Planning team to create reporting for executives
- Manages flow of assets (graphic, copy, video, etc.) between team members and partners
- Documents project details for internal staff and partners
- Assures quality and accuracy of content working with Nintendo of America (NOA) and Nintendo Company Limited (NCL) Debug and Lotcheck teams
- Directs operations staff members to manage workflow and defines internal processes on content entry and marketing communications
- Manages operations staff, content entry, catalog management, pricing content and SOX compliance
- Provides strategy related to team performance and defines resources needed to achieve a high level of success
- Partners in the overall process to ensure that results align with original specifications and plan
- Develops, maintains, and leverages internal and external relationships
- Communication and coordination with other departments and territories
- Oversees the merchandising of Nintendo eShop including selection, prioritization, scheduling, and execution of new and existing content
- Collaborates with Marketing Strategy & Planning, Advertising, and Online Marketing teams to develop marketing plans to drive eShop awareness, visitation, and conversion
- Demonstrates active commitment to working and influencing partners in a shifting, ambiguous yet collaborative environment
- Oversees the execution and distribution of digital download codes for NOA including eShop, Retail, and Latin America (LatAm)
- Identifies options when escalating roadblocks, scope, and budget or deadline issues to leadership teams
- Creates strategy and own the execution of project content, timelines and lead project members to ensure deliverables are met
- Experience working in distributed product development programs
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience focused in internet technologies, information architecture, program management, marketing analytics or business management. MBA preferred.
- Experience with digital content management systems and workflow
- 2-3 years of management experience
- Ten years of related experience in eCommerce/digital store management
- Minimum of three years of experience with website design and related program management
- Project management and project definition required
- E-commerce experience
- Editorial management or publishing experience required
- Experience with mobile or downloadable games marketing or catalog management
- Experience in the games business or familiarity a plus
- Experience in managing small and large scale interactive and digital related media projects involving both hardware and software
- PMP, PgMP or Scrum Master Certification a plus
- Experience with Agile development a plus
This position includes a base salary range of $138,952 - $208,428 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
