JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Partnerships will lead global expansion of Marriott’s travel insurance and affinity program. The role will be responsible for launching new travel insurance international markets as well as launching affinity insurance, guarantee, warranty, and/or assistance products/services.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Partnerships, the position will oversee opportunity analysis, business case development, and strategic planning efforts. The role will support contract negotiations and drive cross-functional program management for key workstreams. Additionally, they will lead partner management, marketing, communications, and other key activities in support of enhancing the business performance while building a top-class customer experience.

The role will work with partners, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to continually assess opportunities and drive program activation. The role will help optimize performance (through data science, modeling, and testing), drive growth through marketing, product design and pricing, and drive expansion throughout Marriott distribution channels. The role will also be responsible for monitoring customer experience, business KPIs and the program P&L, and partner with Risk Management to ensure that regulatory requirements are completed, as required.

Key focus areas will include the following:

  • Forecast and report results: Develop channel level forecasts and results reporting on an ongoing basis
  • Expansion: Work closely with key stakeholders to identify new expansion markets/products, assist in negotiation of contracts and provide oversight to regulatory and digital implementation efforts
  • Product & offer development and optimization: Provide oversight with testing, analysis and data-based decision making around product and offers; lead continuous process of optimization working with internal analytics teams and leveraging partner expertise
  • Organizational alignment: Coordinate with internal business partners, including Legal, Risk Management, Finance, Marketing, and Global Technology to ensure that parameters for the partnership are consistent with the needs of the organization and that information is received in a timely manner
  • Marketing: Work with marketing teams and channel partners to develop and launch marketing campaigns across channels
  • Licensing: Support the collection and organization of licensure information on behalf of Marriott in accordance with partner’s compliance protocols and procedures. Position will provide routine reports, so that key decisions can be made by leadership in timely manner as necessary
  • Customer experience journey integration: Work with digital, tech and data partners to optimize the customer experience across digital and other channels
  • Communications: Oversee communications development to ensure alignment of core activities with partners and senior leadership


CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and patter of exceptional performance required
  • 5+ years’ experience in the hospitality, insurance, or consulting industry or other relevant experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance AND 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related major OR
  • Experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business units and overseeing cross-functional working teams
