  • Identify and reach out to companies that meet the requirements for targeted opportunities
  • Coordinate with the portfolio companies’ leaders to ensure the acquired add-on or tuck-in businesses can be successfully integrated and deliver expected results
  • In conjunction with the owners, identify opportunities for new lines of business that go beyond the current portfolio and represent profitable greenfield opportunities
  • In conjunction with the portfolio company leaders, strategically evaluate the businesses and identify opportunities for growth through M&A

Attributes and experience that will be critical for success in this role include:

  • Solid technical and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to have open and honest conversations
  • Hard working, self-starter who has the experience to know what needs to be done and the tenacity to personally engage to get it done.
  • Ability to work from the very high-level strategy and negotiations to the very detailed modeling and integration planning
  • An ability to work effectively and efficiently remotely with a wide variety of people
  • Integrity.
  • Knowledge of the processes at all levels and phases of M&A including small deals.
  • Experience in international businesses
