Position Summary:
The Senior Intelligence Analyst position within GSRM is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and execution of the Corporate Intelligence mission. This will include responsibility for all intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination of finished intelligence production to relevant stakeholders within Corporate Security. The analyst will be a member of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Team which will provide them access to additional resources and intelligence tools needed to perform their duty. The analyst will focus on physical threats that may impact SHEIN’s global e-commerce operations, physical infrastructure, physical events, and executive security. This individual should have a deep understanding of the intelligence cycle, structured analytical techniques, intelligence gathering techniques, and geopolitical impact to operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide intelligence collection, analysis, and production focused on security events affecting or threatening SHEIN physical infrastructure, executives, operations, and assets globally.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with key partners and business units across the company, government, law enforcement, public safety, industry partners, and intelligence-sharing organizations.
- Monitor and report significant global and local events which may impact business operations, corporate events, or executive travel; provide subject matter expertise for geopolitical and security intelligence covering the Americas region (North and South) with other regions to follow.
- Independently plan and direct research and analytical activities on complex subjects requiring in-depth research and assessment; provide guidance to analytical, operational, and executive personnel; ensure intelligence is timely, accurate, and actionable.
- Oversee threat monitoring and associated analytical reporting on known or emerging threats to company's operations, assets, and employees; conduct research and analysis leveraging open-source information, as well as closed source, and proprietary data sets.
- Collaborate closely with the Corporate Security Manager and Regional Security Manager teams to help drive effective and efficient end-to-end security risk management solutions for the company and assist with the development of the overall Corporate Security Intelligence Program.
- Lead projects to improve data collection and interpretation processes and initiatives regarding threat intelligence and information security.
- Prepare and present standardized and customized intelligence products for various levels of audiences and business units to support critical decision making across the company; deliver on-demand intelligence products to enable the business to forecast any tactical and strategic risks.
Skills & Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience performing intelligence functions within the DoD, Government, Law Enforcement, or related agencies. (e.g., cyber threat intelligence analyst, all source intelligence analyst, CI/HUMINT, OSINT, 1811, 1810, 0132 or similar disciplines).
- Ability to manage multiple activities and requirements simultaneously, with a strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to high priority events. Organizing and scheduling work effectively, flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements are critical.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience performing corporate security intelligence functions within a corporate environment.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple teams and departments, either with or in support of varying business units, corporate executives, and their subordinates, at a variety of levels within the company.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, social media intelligence, and open-source intelligence tools and techniques are required.
Skills & Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.
- Bachelor's Degree in international relations, intelligence, homeland security, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with the application of physical security technology; knowledge of security controls, how they can be thwarted.
- A strong understanding of geopolitics and its impacts to business security and operations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in the corporate or cybersecurity field within a social media, retail, or e-commerce industry.
- Familiarity with organized and/or “cyber-based” criminal or activist communities operating on forums, chatrooms, and “deep/dark web” sources.
- Mandarin, Chinese, or second language proficiency.
