Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director

Although we are mostly virtual, the position requires regularly scheduled in-person meetings in the greater Baltimore area. Please don't apply if you live outside a normal commuting distance.

The Senior Graphic Designer will be our fourth professional creative hire supporting our rapidly growing customer base (supplementing our internal and current outsourced solutions) and will have the opportunity to join the leadership team over time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for specific client creative services from ideation to execution, conceptualizing innovative designs and media across all mediums. Responsibilities include but are not limited to graphic design in both traditional print and digital mediums, email strategy, copywriting, and landing page development that conveys message consistency to achieve stated objectives. Collaborate with internal creative and external integrated teams to develop marketing campaigns, product branding, and style guides. Pitch and present ideas and oversee the proper execution of concurrent projects.

Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showing samples in higher education, non-profits, and financial sectors.

• Email strategies and design experience.

• Website landing page development and design experience.

• Solid skills in digital art direction, an excellent eye for typography, a clean layout, purposeful color, and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's Degree in Art/Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 7+ years experience.

• Must handle change in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter/proactive, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve/troubleshoot.
