Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer

As a design changemaker, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual narratives of our client's brands, campaigns, products, and services. You will create compelling brand identities, breathe life into products, and create innovative marketing materials. In this role, you will be involved in projects from kickoff to completion and responsible for managing the design phase, including visual concept, layout, illustration, photo selection and manipulation, and preparing digital files for print or web use. Moreover, you'll be an invaluable team player, expected to contribute positively to a team environment rooted in the firm’s core values and upholding our community guidelines.

The target salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and internal equity. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create a spectrum of digital content: social media graphics, email marketing templates, web banner ads, websites, and more.
• Attend to ad-hoc duties as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Art Directors, and other team members to develop and uphold our client's visual identity, translating complex concepts into engaging visual narratives using color, form, photography, and more.
• Produce original, inspired, and visually stunning user-focused concepts and solutions that are multi-faceted and incorporate all the elements of a great user experience while maintaining the brand objectives.
• Deliver diverse design solutions: marketing materials, ad campaigns, branding, annual reports, video content, conference materials, digital products, newsletters, infographics, books, and beyond.
• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, and video, to ensure designs align with campaign target audiences, objectives, and messaging.
• Design compelling print materials, from brochures and reports to event graphics, data visualizations, and OOH advertising.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• Innate creativity, strong artistic talent, quick conceptual thinking, self-management, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – including creating themes and templates. 
• Exceptional organizational skills in delivering quality work, prioritizing, and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
• Team-oriented with a knack for taking direction and offering/receiving constructive feedback.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) and Mac OS is a must. Additional knowledge of InVision, WordPress, and other design programs is a plus.  
• Comprehensive knowledge of graphic design theories and techniques, typography, layout design, packaging, and state-of-the-art print production methods.
• Exceptional layout, typography, color, and compositional skills.  
• Effective communication skills – both written and verbal. 
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency or other fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with After Effects and motion graphic creation will be a significant advantage.
