Get hands-on marketing experience working with a goals-oriented marketing team. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate that can support digital marketing efforts for a global company. This role is part of the global marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer.

Summary Description

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for producing visually captivating designs across various marketing materials, including brochures, digital magazines, video, ads, social media graphics, and website content. Your ability to follow design schedules, meet project deadlines, and maintain accuracy will be crucial to your success.

We offer a hybrid schedule with onsite work in Annapolis

Responsibilities

• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
• Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Assist in creating visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including brochures, digital magazines, video, ads, social media graphics, and website content.
• Assist in creating and updating templates to streamline design processes and improve productivity.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule, task-switch and prioritize daily workload
• Execute design tasks under the guidance of creative team, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining consistency across all materials.
• Communicate and present design ideas effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative input for various projects.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and design software to continuously improve skills and efficiency.
• Follow design schedules and meet project deadlines with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ensure all design files are well-organized, properly named, and easily accessible for future reference.
• Generate fresh and innovative design ideas to enhance the visual impact of the organization's communication
• Work closely with the creative team to ensure high-quality output of materials.
• Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project
• Prepare and deliver design drafts and concepts for review and feedback.

Job Qualifications And Skill Sets

• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Ability to make independent decisions daily
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a creative field
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to continuous change
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
• Attention to detail
• Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects
• Experience with both print and digital media
• Proficiency Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, PowerPoint
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design and desktop publishing
• Strong professional and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to be self-direct, self-starter with exemplary planning and time management skills
