Analyst / Senior Analyst Jobs

At DM Capital, we are fundamental investors focused on finding discrepancies between thevalueof a company and thepriceof its stock.We invest with a margin-of-safety ethos, focus on the long-term, and maintain a mentality of buying businesses vs. renting stocks.

We are looking for an Analyst, or a Senior Analyst, for our investment team.In this role, your primary focus will be stock research, but you can also expect to be heavily involved in our marketing efforts and back-office operations.In addition to DM Capital, you will support our anchor investor, John W. Childs, on venture capital investments in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and health care consumer products, through J.W. Childs Associates, L.P.

Taken together, we feel this is a unique opportunity to gain experience in both the public and private markets.Furthermore, as part of a small team, you will have significant exposure to high-level decision making and a seat at the table during all stages of the investment process.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze company, industry, and economic trends
• Identify, research, and make investment recommendations
• Conduct deep fundamental research using a broad array of sources
• Support the marketing and back-office operations of DM Capital

Education and Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative field (e.g., finance, accounting, engineering, etc.)
• Self-motivation: ability to work independently and as a team player
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• No prior experience necessary, although 1-2 years of banking, private equity, hedge fund, or other investing experience is preferred
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows
