Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst in the JRD Global Consolidations, FP&A and Business Operations team. The position will be based in Spring House, PA, also open to Titusville or Raritan. There is also periodic travel to other NJ/PA JRD offices.
Within the Janssen R&D Finance organization, the FP&A and Business Operations team is the global center of excellence for financial expertise. Reporting to the JRD Capital and Headcount FP&A Manager, this role is responsible for all compensation and headcount reporting and analysis for Global JRD, and this role partners heavily with the organization. This role plays a critical part in compensation and hiring planning for Global JRD for Forecasts and Actuals spanning the US, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, China, Japan, and UK Janssen R&D affiliates. This position will have broad exposure to the JRD CFO, Finance Leadership Team, and the entire global finance organization in R&D.
- Provide support to Therapeutic Areas and Functions for Business Reviews, close/forecast cycles, and ad hoc requests.
- Provide strong financial leadership and business partner support to the Global JRD Organization. This role assists the team with driving and shaping strategy, managing risk and opportunities, developing, and supporting delivery of financial targets and lead value creation agenda related to C&H.
- Support and lead SigniFi related efforts as needed.
- Demonstrate and drive a culture of continuous improvement in finance processes, including robust analytic capabilities, improving visibility of reporting while seeking opportunities to simplify and standardize across the organization.
- Complete ownership and accountability of compensation and headcount planning for Actual and Forecasting process for all major and minor updates across the Global Janssen R&D organization. This includes supporting actuals, latest thinking, forecasts, preparing and communicating financial content, and providing support for the CFO and the Finance Leadership Team. This role is also responsible for headcount reporting.
- Act as a liaison with the JRD organization on C&H related activities, when needed.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have an analytical mind set and must be confident in representing the business at a global level. They must have the ability to develop strong business relationships across different countries with varying areas of the business. They should also be proficient in financial analysis, financial reporting and be open to travel within the role.

- SAP/Beacon knowledge is preferred
- A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required.
- Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement solutions & improvements, work independently, and prioritize between multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines and deliverables is required.
- Strong influencing, communication and framing skills are required.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- A CPA/CMA is preferred but not required
- Fluency in English (written & oral)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, or related is required.
