Senior Financial Analyst – Atlanta, GA / Hybrid
We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our client team.
Our Senior Financial Analyst is a collaborative team member supporting the on-account Finance & Accounting team. If you are a clear communicator, organized with effective time management skills, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt, with the highest standards of behavior, collaborative manner and work ethic then this role is for you.
What this job involves
Financial Analysis
Support the dedicated team by providing comprehensive financial support across multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, reporting & analysis, business process improvement, and month-end close
Provide analytical support to transform behaviors and techniques
Analyze performance data to forecast/trend.
Perform variance analysis
Financial modeling, analysis and compilation of quantitative data
Monitor and work to maximize project cash flow
Reporting
Complete and support regular and ad-hoc reporting including informal and formal internal and client-ready documents, reports, graphs, charts and presentations.
Collaborate with team to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity
Teamwork
This highly visible position requires regular interaction with internal and external customers as well as interactions with senior-level staff members
Participate in monthly funding review meetings
Demonstrate high level of customer service with client contacts and internal team
Coordinate activities with support teams including Corporate Accounting, IT, and Procurement
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to design complex models
Proficiency in Tableau
Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal successfully with complexity and ambiguity while adhering to Policies & Procedures.
Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
Understanding of and commitment to client service
A desire to work within a fast-paced, diverse, collaborative, and driven team environment
Strong accounting skills
