As a Senior Financial Analyst at Bio-Rad, you will be a key part of the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) finance team. You will partner with functional leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly financial analysis and reporting, and provide ad hoc analysis for decision making support. You will be expected to have in-depth knowledge of your customer business unit in order to provide accurate forecasts and review assumptions underlying forecasts.. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Identify business process improvement opportunities, develop solution options, engage management and stakeholders to align on decisions, implement approved plans, and revise desk level procedures to reflect changes.
• Business Partnership and Collaboration: The candidate must demonstrate an ability to build strong relationships with Finance and non-Finance business partners. The candidate should be a proactive leader exhibiting strong influencing capabilities with business partners and a willingness to maintain open and transparent communication across the organization
• Prepare monthly variance analysis of actuals to forecast and budget, explain and investigate any major discrepancies, and understand key business drivers.
• Research and respond timely and accurately to business partner inquiries.
• Act as liaison between the business and accounting shared services group.
• Lead and support business teams in the annual operating budget and forecast processes.
• Participate in monthly close process (accruals, reviews, journal entries) and review meetings with business partners

What You Bring:

• Strong analytical background with strict attention to detail.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role, either in public accounting or corporate finance; experience supporting any of the following areas of business desired: SG&A, R&D, consolidations, commercial (sales), supply chain (manufacturing & logistics).
• Experience with Enterprise level Accounting and Planning software desired; Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and SAP preferred.
• Ability to manage deadlines from multiple project streams.
• Detail oriented with attention to process and documentation in addition to accuracy.
• Education: BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Managerial Econ or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, Sumifs, Sumproduct).
• Hands-on; must have a willingness to become involved in the details of the operations to ensure accurate information is provided to the business partners.
• Ability to translate GAAP terms to non-accounting partners.
• PowerBI or related experience preferred.
• Strong written communication skills to clearly convey monthly reporting to stakeholders.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $99,700 to $137,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
