Dip into This Role:
- Establishes priorities and direction for product lines including packaging, promotion, quality standards, innovation/new product development, line extensions and other in-market execution.
- Exercise critical thinking to set high performance standards, measure for success, and adjust plan to deliver against growth agenda.
- Develop a portfolio strategy that leverages current and future state innovations to achieve long term financial goals and outcomes
- Work with Finance to lead budget consolidation, gain visibility to monthly brand P&L and track progress against AOP objectives.
- Ongoing analysis of business data, sales information, competitive insights, consumer research, and other meaningful information to determine and recommend specific business actions.
- Leverage combination of strong commercial knowledge and financial acumen to maximize our ability to deliver against annual financial commitments.
- Lead talented team to flawlessly execute commercialization and innovation projects and brand building, own the overall marketing budget, and deliver core Innovation/Renovations activities
- Partner with sales organization and communications team to convert marketing plans into compelling customer programs that deliver results, grow the category, and enhance customer relationships
- Key business partner providing strategic direction to cross-functional partners in Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance including AOP guidance and National Sales Meeting.
Recipe for Success:
- Salary Range: $210,000-$230,000
- Ability to help define, refine and identify consumer insights that will drive brand building and business growth opportunities and communications plans
- 10 -12 years’ experience in Marketing, with experience in consumer-packaged goods
- Demonstrated ability to tap into cultural, food, and behavioral trends that could present opportunities for. the business and understand how to apply them to current or future strategies
- Must be willing and able to travel 10-20% of the time
- Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate collaborative and inclusive relationships and lead cross-functional teams
- Experience driving business transformation needs and doing so in an agile and roll-up your sleeves manner
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to define a portfolio vision and strategy and successfully bring the organization along to achieve flawless execution
- Has an agile and empowering style to getting work done and motivating, nurturing and growing high performing teams
- Understanding of how to develop comprehensive 3600 marketing plans and work with integrated teams to achieve holistic in market execution
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow brands, deepen equity ownership and command a leadership position for the business
- Works well with ambiguity and is energized by a high growth, high change environment…and both the good and challenging things that come along with that.
- People management experience
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Ability to read and analyze financials, consumer research, and syndicated data and trends, and synthesize data into compelling insights to drive growth, improve ROI and overall help contribute to the thriving health of the business
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Experience to command presence and persuasively and effectively lead senior executive level communication.
- Experience with complex business and P&L management
