Job Title: Scheduling and Training Specialist

Job Type: Part-time/Seasonal


Pay: $20/hr


Gameday Your Way is a growing events hospitality business that specializes in delivering fun & engaging events for our customers before football games at Notre Dame, Northwestern, University of Wisconsin, Indiana University and Soldier Field. We are looking for a training and scheduling specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for the scheduling of event support staff and training of all new seasonal employees.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff members, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
  • Maintain clear communication with staff regarding their schedules, promptly addressing any scheduling conflicts or changes.
  • Regularly update and improve training materials to incorporate feedback and industry best practices.
  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to efficiently assign shifts, considering staff availability, skill sets, and event needs.
  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for event staff, both in-person and virtually, ensuring they are confident and competent in their assigned duties.
  • Address performance issues promptly and constructively, offering opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Customize training materials to align with the unique requirements of each event, ensuring staff members are well-prepared for their roles.
  • Collaborate with the events management team to create and manage event staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all event requirements.


Shift:


  • Up to 15 hours per week.
  • 4-6-hour shift


Date range:


  • August 10 through December 1st.

Requirements


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new software systems
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • 2+ years of staff management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in event management or customer service
