Scheduler Jobs

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Scheduler to support transportation projects or other types of public works projects. Under the oversight and direction of client leadership and area supervisors, the Scheduler will be assigned various scheduling tasks in support of the client's construction projects and construction programs. Schedulers may also be assigned to individual projects currently under construction. The Scheduler will have the following job responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Project Management Division and client staff
• Provide instruction and training to client staff in the preparation and interpretation of construction schedules
• Develop As-built schedules based upon available records in support of claims analysis
• Prepare schedules for various public works construction projects
• Analyze project schedules submitted by contractors prior to the start of construction
• Develop schedules for various public works construction programs
• Analyze monthly progress schedules submitted by contractors

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in the implementation and use of Suretrak, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Online
• Previous experience preparing and analyzing schedules for the public works projects
• Ability to interpret construction schedules
• Ability to prepare project and program schedules using Suretrak, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Online
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and applications of WordPerfect, Excel, and Access
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, special provisions, and other contract documents

Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
