Job Description
Summary You will serve as a RESOURCE SPECIALIST in the PACIFIC TARGETS & MARINE OPS DIVISION, THREAT TARGET SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU. Responsibilities You will serve as Subject Manager Expert for current and future Pacific Targets Marine Ops (PTMO) Division resources and operational schedules. You will evaluate progress and report results to the Resource Scheduling team. You will coordinate with leadership to set long-range goals and implement the strategy plan for the Division. You will advise internal and external stakeholders, including Range, Customers, Contracts, Test Specialists and Operations Conductors in scheduling and billing procedures. You will plan and conduct research projects concerning problem areas related to complex resource issues. You will estimate manpower needs and schedules, and assign work to meet milestones. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Implementing new developments to solve novel or obscure problems; 2) Understanding of the Pacific Targets & Marine Ops Division resources and operational schedules; 3) Interpreting NAVAIR policies, procedures, and strategies in the delivery of PTMO services while meeting command intent; 4) Providing development plans, training, or assigning training to junior schedulers to ensure success; 5) Evaluating event requests; 6) Providing government cost estimates, funding categories, rates and materials.
