The engagement will be on-site with a possibility of telework at a later date 40 hours a week. 1000-hour engagement. Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM EST (There is some flexibility on workday times). Must be available from 9:00am – 3:00pm EST (Core Meeting Hours) Years of Relevant experience: 10+ years Preferred Education • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or information systems or related field • Salesforce.com Developer certification or Administrator certification, preferred • Scrum Master Certification This senior level business analyst requires a thorough knowledge of business process analysis and systems development lifecycles and provides strategic business and systems analysis services to our Oil & Gas business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the Oil & Gas Division of ODNR to gain in-depth understanding of their business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the division operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address the divisions challenges. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. This candidate should be able to handle multiple projects and one time and be adept at multi-tasking. This Business Analyst position will ensure what is delivered in Salesforce (or any other technology supporting the Oil & Gas Division) meets the Chiefs expectations. The candidate in this position needs to be an excellent communicator and speak fluent “Business” and “IT” and be able to gather requirements from the business then convey to the developers what is being asked before it gets created. This is a critical position for the success of the project team. Job Duties • Gathers & analyzes information needs & functional requirements from stakeholders (internal or external), business product Owners (PO) & management for implementation of information technology solutions • Analyzes user needs on existing legacy &/or new systems to document business requirements &/or interface designs for the developer to estimate effort • Ability to provide consistent evaluation of a system and make recommendation for improvements • Ability to create process flows &/or flowcharts to convey designs that can be implemented by a developer • Ability to use reporting systems (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, etc.) to create reports or dashboards to support the business needs • Analyzes, reviews, & recommends possible solutions to identified business problems through the implementation of technical solutions • Ability to use a requirements base system (e.g., Azure Dev/Ops, Jira, etc.) to capture and collaborate with IT and Business • Ability to lead multiple small Agile/SCRUM team in the Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, & Backlog Refinement • Performs validation of solutions by analyzing the product & the requirements specifications • Performs as liaison between various stakeholders, managing stakeholder expectations & ensuring successful communications between project team members and the IT Project Manager • Ability to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create the necessary artifacts to perform UAT. • Ability to coordinate with existing vendor and internal staff to create new SOWs / Proposals for enhancements or new solicitation if needed • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) to business staff members, IT staff &/or senior staff the status of any tasking / project status • Develops skills necessary to provide and assists with managing CIDAR (Change, Issues, Decisions, Accomplishments & Risks) items related to IT projects • Assists in developing project tasks, leading meetings & other related tasks to gather & coordinate activities for requirements gathering • Develops skills & understanding of data modeling/data dictionary, technology solutions, vendor solution evaluations, & recommendations to meet defined business requirements • Uses business process modeling and/or vendor solution evaluations to analyze potential for streamlining or reengineering business processes via implementation of information technology solutions • Identifies risks and recommends changes related to processes, projects, and procedures • Makes recommendations for gains in efficiency or costs through implementation of information technology solutions • Develops Microsoft project plan(s) or Agile/SCRUM Burndown Charts with project manager to track project progress • Gathers and analyzes information from stakeholders, business owners, customers, and management • Performs as liaison between various stakeholders, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring successful communications between project team members • Performs validation of solutions by analyzing the end- product and specification requirements REQUIRED Business Analysis 10 years Experience with enterprise systems (Systems Analysis) Program Level Experience 3 years SQL Server Database/Relational Databases Knowledge 3 years Data Analysis & Modeling Experience 2 years Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies 2 years Prototyping and Wireframing 2 years Experience Azure DevOps 1 year Salesforce migration experience 2 years Experience with designing Salesforce Solutions and Communities 2 years Experience in using Applications in Salesforce Platform-Based Technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience/Community Cloud) 1 year
