Colorbiotics is hiring a Sales Support Specialist to work in our Ames, IA office.

This position will focus on freight management within the Customer Service group.

Responsibility And Accountability Include, But Is Not Limited To

• Provide support to customers through broad knowledge of our products, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Colorbiotics management.
• Determine how to prioritize responsibilities, balancing short- and medium-term objectives while successfully ensuring completion of routine job duties.
• Resolve many, sometimes conflicting, issues in a professional, confident, and timely manner while performing routine tasks.
• Create new customers and ship-to locations in SAP.
• Utilize Non - Conformance Management System for non-conformance tracking and to identify opportunities for corrective and preventative actions, along with processing freight claims.
• Create Credits/Debits/Returns as assigned by manager to support the customer experience.
• Work to build rapport with customers, internal functions, and external service providers to better understand what can be done to improve internal / external processes and procedures.
• Exhibit positive image of self and corporation, even in difficult and stressful situations.
• Execute Order-to-Cash transactions .
• Execute load planning through 3rd Party Logistics Platform
• Handle customer inquiries including, but not limited to, those presented via phone and e-mail.

Qualifications

• Computer skills with a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software, experience with SAP or other ERP system is preferable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Customer Service, Supply Chain, or Freight Management related experience is a plus
• Ability to multi-task different projects and systems
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, business acumen, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
