Data Specialist Jobs

Purpose

Supports data-related tasks, such as data entry, data cleaning, data validation, data

transfers, and basic data analysis using various systems for customers and within

the organization using the highest confidentiality standards.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

Collecting and organizing data from various sources.

Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Assisting in data analysis and generating basic reports

Conducting data quality checks and addressing data-related issues.

Maintaining data documentation and data dictionaries.

Collaborating with others to support data-related projects.

Develop a plan to efficiently migrate data into iClassPro software by

understanding and modeling customer’s existing data.

Design, plan, and perform the data migration process for customers moving

to iClassPro software.

Create effective processes and reporting tools to successfully import

customer data.

Manage database cleanup issues for customers.

Responsible for technical documentation and the ability to share and explain.

Coordinate with supervisor and support team to ensure successful project

deployments.

Ensure proper time tracking of billable tasks for proper invoicing of services.

Restore lost customer data.

Create and support custom reports for customers.

Manage special data requests for customers.

Create and support customer reports for data warehousing.

Support and make recommendations for improving the data import

processes.

Review existing migration tools and provide recommendations for new

tooling.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements And Skills

Strong understanding of databases and data management procedures

and structure.

Strong foundation in SQL including ability to read, understand, and write

SQL.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Highly detailed with the ability to understand abstract concepts.

Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies
