Why We're Hiring


Our Sales Planning Director will be responsible for forecasting to help the sales team achieve goals, provide detailed data-driven ways to grow revenue and seller success by marketplace category. Additionally, they will provide strategic incentives and maintain in-depth knowledge of live streaming and competitors.


What You'll Do


  • Drive category go-to-market strategies in conjunction with the VP of Sales, tech, and marketing
  • Responsible for working with account managers and top sellers to grow their business
  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with key sellers
  • Track performance toward merchant and sales objectives
  • Develop strategies to increase seller retention
  • Identify and target sellers and talent for onboarding to NTWRK’s marketplace. Curate relevant marketplace assortment that drives business demand and growth
  • Own weekly and monthly reporting for key stakeholders
  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with key sellers
  • Manage and define seller terms and take rates and incentives while managing profit margins
  • Design the overall category growth strategy - define goals, identify opportunities, forecast the business, and go-to-market
  • Maintain updated knowledge of key competitor product, distribution, and pricing strategies
  • Coach a team of Category Managers in setting long and short-term goals, growth milestones, and tracking performance towards merchant and sales objectives
  • Responsible for planning/analyzing category financial plans and seller targets
  • Build relationships and cross-functional strategy with company-wide business unit leaders across Creative, Finance, Legal, Technology, Data, Marketing, E Commerce Operations & Merchandising
  • Forecast KPIs around Marketplace growth, revenue, and seller retention strategies. Guide sales teams to achieve these metrics
  • Oversee Marketplace contract negotiations with support from VP of Sales
  • Flag roadblocks/ potential accelerants on a moment-by-moment basis
  • Drive reactive strategy to performance trends
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for NTWRK Marketplace. Design and execute strategic & tactical sales plans to reach sales targets
  • Provide data-driven insights on ways to grow revenue and seller success per marketplace category
Who You Are


  • Minimum 5+ years team management experience
  • Passionate about working cross-functionally, especially with data, technology and operations
  • Ability to manage complexity and find solutions
  • Being a strong people leader, fostering a strong second line of leadership. Build managers
  • Strong strategic sensibility
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
  • Minimum 8-10 years sales/planning experience in related business or brand with demonstrated product development experience, preferably in a digital retail environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Adept at manipulating large amounts of data to find key insights and tell a compelling story
  • Ability to manage complexity and find solutions
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership, and accountability for business
  • Excellent product sensibility and conceptual ability
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math
