Do you have a passion for sales, mentoring, and business development? As a Sales Manager supporting Weyerhaeuser's Distribution business, you will have an opportunity for accelerated growth to position you as a fast track candidate for Area General Manager. The Sales Manager role reports directly to the Area General Manager and is a key part of Weyerhaeuser’s Distribution Center leadership team. In the event of the Area General Manager’s absence, you will be expected to act as the site leader.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coaching a team of sellers as you also work to meet the sales goals in your assigned territory. You will also be responsible for hiring and training team members, developing goals, setting targets, measuring results, managing key accounts, and conducting comprehensive performance assessments. This role will be based onsite and considered as a part of the lead team for the Distribution center.
This position will be based out of our Dacula, GA distribution facility near Atlanta. Relocation assistance is available! This role is eligible for our sales incentive program and we are targeting a salary range of $110K-130K based on level of experience starting out.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Actively lead and motivate the sales team
- Leverage product changes
- Leverage our WSO/SSO process and techniques
- Develop programs and assist sales representatives in their presentations to key customers
- Accountability for sales team performance and growth/development of the team
- Supports the efforts of supply chain management
- Lead and participate in customer events, trade shows, promotion and other customer activities
- Partner with the Product Managers on area and local pricing
- Build and execute sales plans, which includes driving down dead stock, growing new products, understanding cost to serve and receiving payment for it
- Provide strategic customer planning and relationship management
- Participate in the development and execution of business strategies, which include developing sales and marketing programs
- Partner with operations to safely drive efficiency and outstanding customer service throughout the organization
- Actively sell 10-20% of time, and ensure sales and profit growth while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Open to relocation now and in the future for additional US opportunities in Distribution
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education/related industry experience
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries
- We will also consider candidates with an interest in sales management, that have transferrable team management skills from the building products industry (e.g., residential wood or building materials)
