Sales & Design Coordinator

The Sales & Design Coordinator will provide a pivotal and unique function for UnionMain Homes. This is a blended role, reporting to the VP of Sales, supporting both our corporate teams as well as our sales teams. The Dallas corporate office will be the Sales & Design Coordinator’s main workspace, with daytime travel throughout the DFW metroplex as needed for design appointments. The Sales & Design Coordinator will support the Vice President of Sales as well as the sales counselors in the field. In addition, the Sales & Design also support UnionMain Home’s prospective buyers in providing design center support, primarily over the weekend during peak ‘busy’ times.

OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS:

• Entering customer information/selections into Brix systems.
• Build rapport with prospective buyers, determine buyers’ housing needs and interests, demonstrate our model home and/structural and upgrade items at the community level.
• Support sales staff through fulfilling sales request and model needs.
• Assisting clients with making selections to customize their home.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of home features, options pricing, and design center selections and effectively communicate those to prospects and buyers.
• Host and attend realtor events as needed; coordinate events such as model home grand openings and referral events.
• Ad-hoc requests as needed, assigned by the VP of Sales

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good time management skills
• Brix experience a plus.
• Effective communication skills and a sense of urgency.
• Prior design related experience with a home builder a plus.
• Great listening skills and creative problem solving with the ability to provide a solution.
• Detail oriented, self-disciplined, and organized with focus on excellent follow-up.
• Must be a team-player with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to deal with conflict & set expectations.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Qualifications

• Work scheduled would potentially include weekends, with two consecutive days off during the week.
• Must have reliable car and driver’s license to visit different communities.
