Boston, MA
Position Title: Program Coordinator (LDA-CT TTA)
Department: Policy & Research
Reports To: Director of Policy & Research
Salary Range: $50,000 - 60,000
GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a program coordinator for a grant-funded project that facilitates the development of career-alignment pathways in Connecticut. The position is a limited duration appointment (LDA) for 14 months, extension dependent on funding. The Tech Talent Accelerator (TTA) Program Coordinator will work to support the implementation and its participating institutions. Under the direction of the Director of Policy & Research, this person will be responsible for managing communication with grantees, organizing community practice events, and supporting the Senior Project Manager with grant reporting and a large-scale in-person event.
In 2021, The New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) and the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) were designated by the Connecticut Office of Workforce Strategy (OWS) to direct a higher education innovation challenge: The Connecticut Higher Education Tech Talent Accelerator. Through the state’s initial investment in TTA, seven partnerships between business and higher education institutions have been built. This year, with an additional investment from the State of Connecticut, TTA will increase its cohort of grantees and support up to 13 partnerships to increase access to credential pathways leading to in-demand tech jobs and strengthen collaboration between business and higher education institutions.
