Ideal Background:- Extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform work on an EHS project as directed, conduct required activities, maintain required documentation, construct a meaningful report of activities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently and effectively.
- Practical hands-on experience involving emergency response, risk mitigation, injury and incident management, risk assessment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to deliver training presentations to small and large audiences.
- Ability to work remotely with limited amounts of supervision and to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Ability to participate on a small team to deliver on commitments.
- Ability to lead construction safety activities including Turn-Around and Project work, performing EPC, EPCM and PMC, Brownfield/ Greenfield.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene and Safety principles and practices.
- Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, scissor lift and an aerial lift.
- Ability to operate a vehicle for traveling to and from project sites.
- Ability to wear a half or full-face respirator for extended periods of time during sampling events
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to carry up to 50lbs of sampling equipment to and from the job sites.
- Ability to climb stairs or ladders.
- Assisting with site visit scheduling for relationship building between clients and Tormod to develop business opportunities.
- Managing the Teammate Training Program for safety (registrations, notifications of annual expiration, etc.).
- Registering and preparing materials for conferences and seminars
- Familiarity with and utilizing department standards.
- Leading a team of safety and environmental professionals to execute projects.
- Developing and/or assisting in development of training presentations related to safety and environmental topics and delivering to clients.
- Providing and/or assisting with basic Industrial Hygiene and/or safety consulting activities
- Researching the latest OSHA and Environmental standards plus any State or Local Authority regulatory requirements per said topic at hand.
- Assisting with proposal development.
