A-LERT IS SEEKING: Roofing Sales Manager

This highly visible position will build, coach, mentor, direct, and manage a talented, dynamic, and ambitious multi-state sales team in both commercial and residential metal roof sales. States include, but are not limited to; Texas, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Missouri. Individual sales territories will be determined by the Sales Manager with the expectation of maximizing sales opportunities.

The roof Sales Manager will be a resource of various sales tactics and industry knowledge for the sales team when needed. He/she will provide routine training and communication with the sales team while holding their team accountable and assist their team when needed to overcome objections in the sales process.

The roof Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President and will work collaboratively to ensure sales goals are obtainable, set, met, and/or exceeded.

EXPECTATIONS

A-Lert Roof Systems competes each year to be the top metal roofing company in the country. The roof Sales Manager will bear the bulk weight of this expectation. This person will have the attitude and work ethic of a champion. Knowledge of commercial and residential standing seam metal roofing along with knowledge of other roof and construction modalities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of roof sales; commercial, residential, or a mix of both.
• 2+ years of standing seam metal roof sales preferred.
• 1+ years of sales team management, preferably in a construction capacity or roofing specific.
• Substantial knowledge of various roofing types. (Modified-Bit, Shingle, Tar & Asphalt, other membrane roof systems, etc.)
• Favorable background that will allow access to military installations, schools, and other security sensitive installations.
• Proven sales record of at least $2 million annually.
• 1+ years selling to or working with city, state, and federal government agencies.

• Compensation and benefits package carries a salary with overrides and other benefits that will be discussed during the interview. This position can produce earnings in excess of $100,000 or more annually.
