Roofing Estimator Jobs

We are in immediate need of a property insurance claims adjuster/ estimate writer. This is an office position with some remote, work-from-home work will be needed.

We receive our claim assignments from third party administrators. Those assignments come over with estimate shells in Xactimate through Xactanalysis or in Symbility.
Our PMs scope the jobs the same way that an adjuster would and they turn in a scope sheet and photos. You would then write the estimate, compliant with each insurance carrier's program guidelines. We typically write 200-400 estimates per year year depending on the weather of course across all of our markets. Each estimate requires labeling the photos and being written according to a fixed set of parameters per carrier, and some require little extras like annotating the sketch for test squares, number of components, etc. This is not a supplement situation. Our estimates end up being the actual insurance paperwork that the carrier issues to the insured. Also, you will need to be able to estimate commercial projects by calculating labor, materials, and margin.

Requirements:
-High-level Xactimate AND Symbility experience -Excellent email and verbal communication -Experience with roofing & property claims adjusting
-Home Office
-Great communication with the office and project managers when needed
-High volume and possibly long hours during peak season/ storm events
-You will work remote but must be ultra reliable and available as needed.

NOT required:
-Climbing roofs or visiting job sites
-Xactimate or Symbility Subscription (You would use our subscriptions)

PAY:
-Open to a per-claim amount or salary plus % depending on the candidate.
