We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join our team! As a Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in determining the eligibility of healthcare providers seeking coverage under our medical malpractice insurance policy. You'll be responsible for ensuring that each provider is qualified to work at our facility based on our site's bylaws and quality assurance standards.
What You'll Do
You'll ensure that all necessary documentation for a thorough medical malpractice insurance review has been received by the provider, including their Echo application, CV, attestation form, Physician Services Agreement, release and authorization form, and more.
You'll run the NPDB reports for all providers going through the med mal review process.
You'll review documentation for accuracy, including the Echo application, Provider Services Agreement, Release of Information, and attestation.
You'll ensure that the provider is qualified in the specialty they will be working under through Sound.
You'll further investigate all background issues that arise throughout the review to ensure they fall within the Sound guidelines.
You'll determine if a provider's qualifications meet the requirements specific to each assignment.

You have excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
You have strong written and oral communication skills and are customer service oriented.
You're able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of organization.
You have strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information.
You're able to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines.
Requirements
You have a high school education or equivalent.
You have prior experience in the health services industry or a similar administrative role.
You preferably have 1-2 years of provider credentialing in a hospital Medical Staff Services Office, IPA/Medical Group, or physician group practice.
You have a CPCS certification or are willing to obtain it.
Other Details
You'll be working in an indoor office environment with no travel required.
You'll be sitting at a desk for up to eight hours with breaks and working on a computer for up to eight hours with breaks.
Your pay range will be $20-$24.04 per hour, determined based on your experience and location.
