Berean group is looking for Restaurant Manager with our Direct Client

Position: Restaurant Manager

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Type: Permanent/ fulltime

Experience level: 6 years+

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to manage the staff and operation of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of our restaurant’s policies and procedures, and will participate in achieving our revenue objectives. The Restaurant Manager will ensure that staff remain compliant with all local, state and federal laws, and that customers’ needs are promptly met.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Full-Service Restaurant experience
• Kitchen knowledge is important
• Need someone that is Hands-On (not an office guy to knows reports and paperwork only)
• Background from restaurants which have good full-service reputation (not fast-food restaurants/clubs/hotel restaurants)
• Full Liquor and Bar and Wine knowledge
• Must be accustomed to be able to work in a fast-paced environment (Hotel Restaurant experience is NOT ideal for us ; Burlock in Fort Lauderdale for example is NOT ideal; Louie Bossi is more fast-paced as a good example);

Other Expectations:

• Maintain restaurant clean and health-department ready
• People person
• Follow up with employees and Upper Management
• Inventory/Ordering experience
• Scheduling
• Being able to create and motivate teams
• Build people to move up the ladder
• Negotiation-savvy in purchasing with restaurant suppliers
• Repairs and Maintenance list savvy (staying on top of it and constant communication with team)
• Train/hire staff ; hold everyone accountable with company standards and policies
• Hands-On also meaning be able to roll up his/her sleeves and get things fixed if needed. (No suit/tie guy)
