Description

Primary role will include leading the team responsible for monitoring inventory locations and transactions in ERP system to ensure proper controls providing data / recommendations to support inventory-oriented business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
• Provide weekly location transaction analysis for team review, understand the type of transactions, and initiate any required actions or corrections as needed.
• Establish Exactech's cycle count strategy for implants and instruments and lead the team responsible for executing the strategy and achieving the associated goals across the company.
• Ongoing review of specific inventory locations for timing of product flow, proactively discussing with location owners to clear out the locations in a timely manner.
• Practice leadership as stated in the Exactech Leadership Model.
• Make inventory adjustments in the ERP system as needed.
• Rationalize inventory locations in ERP system for all Exactech operations and monitor inventory transactions to improve visibility and accuracy.
• Assist and support other employees, teams, and personnel as necessary.
• Identify inventory oversite and disposition recommendations working closely with finance and business units to make decisions appropriate for the company.
• Review monthly discrepant inventory charges to understand and provide summary data for further review, working closely with the cost accounting team.
• Work with various teams and departments to improve inventory tracking and product flow processes and ensure compliance.
• Provide team leadership for direct report(s) to include effective feedback on culture, results and future, coaching and mentoring, performance management and career development.

Skills Knowledge And Expertise

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required

Experience:

• 2 – 3 years' experience in inventory control required

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software suite and other computer applications including Access.
• Detailed, organized and excellent analytical and communication skills
• High level of energy and enthusiasm
