Job Description
Summary You will serve as a RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GROUP, WEAPONS & ENERGETICS DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will assist in the preparation, review and evaluation of program and security documentation to ensure adequate protection is provided in accordance with program requirements. You will assist with analyzing, working through, and solving complex issues when dealing with customers and stake holders to ensure user and operational needs are met. You will assist with safeguarding all COMSEC documents, devices and equipment. You will assist with maintaining required files, logs, records and library. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications FOR THE DA-02 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience with at least one year at or equivalent to the GS-04 or DA-01 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following:1)Understanding of processes and procedures for handling classified material; 2) Knowledge of governing DoD/Navy policies; 3) Assisting with handling sensitive information to include PII, classified, controlled data; 4) Assisting with database entry, tracking and maintaining digital libraries. FOR THE DA-03 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level DA-02 (GS 05-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: 1) Understanding of processes and procedures for handling classified material; 2) Knowledge of governing DoD/Navy policies; 3) Experience with handling sensitive information to include PII, classified, controlled data; 4) Experience with database entry, tracking and maintaining digital libraries. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: DA 02 Substitution for qualifying experience: 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree or A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to three years of experience. DA-03 Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
