BDS is currently seeking qualified and motivated window and door outside Sales Professionals for San Diego and Orange County Regions.

Responsibilities:

• Generate own leads by prospecting for new clients
• Generate quotes
• Develop and implement account plans and strategies
• Create and maintain a solid customer base
• Ability to successfully cold call
• Close sales
• Provide product presentations, educate customers
• Respond to sales leads
• Knowledge of territory construction activity
• Meet or exceed customers’ expectations
• Do takeoffs
• Arrange for deliveries

Qualifications:

• Well developed planning, organization and time management skills
• High degree of self-motivation, independent work and proactive personality
• Track record of successful account management while increasing sales
• Minimum 3 years of prior sales experience
• Great interpersonal skills with a keen ability to sell to a diverse clientele
• Prior construction industry knowledge and window and door sales experience is a plus
• An assertive personality and resilient character
• Passion about residential design and construction in general
• High level of integrity in all business dealings
• Great communication skills (oral and written)
• Detail orientation
