Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating internal and external curriculum materials while providing customer service support related responsibilities to Greystar communities, residents and the internal resident insurance team.

  • Reviews, makes recommendations for, and updates existing program materials to reflect changes in the Company’s business practices and industry trends and recommends implementation approaches that ensure that updated programs integrate into the curriculum
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
  • Works with third-party vendors, contractors, and other business partners to support training or system maintenance needs, and provides customer service by working with senior management to develop and produce training and communication materials.
  • Prepares documents, letters, resident notices, and other communication materials for internal distribution, ensuring all documentation is spelled-checked and grammatically correct, also is point of contact for questions related to communication.
  • Creates new or revises existing training programs by researching systems and software functionality, authoring participant and facilitator training materials, designing instructions, practice and other learning activities, and developing other support materials, including PowerPoint presentations, audiovisuals, graphics, job aids, and other documents.
  • Provides help desk support by troubleshooting and responding to user requests and questions, researching and correcting systems problems, and following up with the end users to ensure satisfaction resolution of systems-related issues.
Other responsibilities:
  • Completes projects, tasks, assignments and other work that is unique to the specific business area (including those requiring special knowledge and or skills), follows department policies and procedures, and meets standards, metrics, and other benchmarks used within the department for evaluating performance and results.
Organizational Responsibilities:
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
Working Conditions:
  • Incumbents work in a remote setting.
  • Flexible schedule required and must be available to work on weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
  • Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to ten (10) pounds independently and twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance.
  • Incumbents must be able to view computer screens, mobile devices and other electronic equipment, paper reports, and journals for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.
  • Rare travel may be required to attend training programs, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to reconcile and process invoices and payments.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines such as copiers, faxes, general office equipment, and multi-line telephone systems.
  • Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively interact with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts, respond courteously to questions and requests and stay calm when addressing and resolving customer problems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports.
  • Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of administrative, secretarial, or office support skills demonstrating capability of providing administrative and clerical support.
The hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for employment at the time of posting. Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
