The Senior Curriculum Specialist applies content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital instructional materials.


  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
  • Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $63,410 and $92,197 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
  • Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.


Envision Your Experience.


In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:


  • Follow guidance to implement instructional design in assisting with prototype creation. Ensure consistent application of instructional design to projects.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Write and edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, etc.) for assigned products and content areas.
  • Maintain awareness of project status and schedule and ensure pedagogical consistency across workstreams. Understand how decisions and changes impact other aspects of development. Set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Manage creation of quality instructional components of print and digital products.
  • Communicate and collaborate within and across functional teams, and with vendors and ICs, to manage projects and address challenges; serve as a project lead as needed.
  • Review the work of external vendors or independent contractors to ensure adherence to quality and to project specifications; provide feedback.
  • Analyze standards and other curriculum requirements to contribute to the development of blueprints, scope and sequences, and other project content-planning documents.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:


  • Teaching experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding time frames.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, and 5 or more years in educational publishing, technology development, instructional design, or classroom teaching experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
