Maria Regina Residence, located in Brentwood, NY on Long Island, is seeking enthusiastic and patient-oriented Resident Care Assistants to join our team in our skilled nursing home. Position Overview:

Resident Care Assistants at Maria Regina Residence assist the nursing staff with non-clinical tasks and activities for our residents such as assisting with resident meals, answering call bells, assisting with transporting the residents to recreation programs and appointments, and other non-clinical aspects of resident care.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in caregiving or someone looking to get started in a rewarding healthcare role!

Position Requirements:

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Demonstrates a profession and respectful attitude to staff, family and visitors
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred; understands the needs of the geriatric population
• Ability to be flexible in a dynamic clinical environment
• Ability to establish interpersonal relations and effective communication with residents
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
• Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
