Part Time Child Care Worker Jobs

Provide initial case management and needs assessment to all CCBHC participants.

Has insight about self (i.e., strengths and weaknesses) and utilizes that knowledge toward growth and change.

Support rapid benefit acquisition and presumptive eligibility to ensure participant benefits for acquiring medication and services.

Staff members are not permitted to toilet children. It is the responsibility of the parent to manage such duties.

Manage behavior of children during parent group session.

Assess for safety concerns and notify parent and Manager with any concerns.

Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate, we want all of our employees to succeed!

Pass a caregiver background check.

Have proof of insurance and reliable transportation.

Must also be dependable, caring, and a team player.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school

CPR and basic first aid certifications preferred

Maintain the safety and accountability of children (no broken bones here!)

Model appropriate behavior at all times (including goofiness and abundant laughter)

Plan and implement age-appropriate, crazy fun and engaging activities (because you can!!)

Work requires stooping, reaching, standing, and walking

Ability to learn and use case management software, Microsoft Office Suite

Graduate degree and other state licensure plus 5 years of relevant lived or work experience.

Experience working with student supports and/or legal services

Assist HRI team to assess undocumented and DACAmented student needs and identify possible remedies

Master’s in Social Work. LICSW plus 3 years of work in social work, counseling, or related human-service field; or

Ability to work with a diverse client population, to use cultural humility and to use a client-centered, trauma-informed approach

Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat

Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams to enhance customer experiences and troubleshoot issues

2+ years of experience in customer care or a similar role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances

Experience with omnichannel customer support tools

May be delegated and trained to conduct medication administration or certain medical procedure responsibilities for students.

Ability to work effectively as part of an educational team

Conduct child checks at least 4 times each hour; more frequently when identified as at risk for self-harm or running away.

Assist day staff with morning routine, waking children, supervising breakfast, and ensuring proper hygiene practices.

Ensure any concerns are appropriately communicated to all agency personnel including high-risk behaviors.

Offering rate will vary within the listed hourly range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

Knowledge of child growth and development as well as developmentally appropriate practices for children ages birth to 6 years.

Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.

Knowledge of basic computer use (emails, Word, internet).

Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation.

Ability to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their developmental and educational goals.

Knowledge of all district, campus, and Child Development Center operating procedures and guidelines.

Skill in leading group curriculum or enrichment activities.

Skill in communicating and collaborating effectively with others and working in a team-based environment.

3. Proactively manage student behaviors as they arise.

Engage youth in community activities for recreation, leisure, and education

Coach youth in the development of daily living skills surrounding communication, advocacy, hygiene, study habits, and healthy relationships

People with excellent communication skills

People with experience working with children and youth in the child welfare system preferred

1-2 years experience working with children

Supervising children ages infants to 4 years during Sunday School and Worship Services

Communicating with parents at drop off and pick up

Occasional work as second adult in elementary age Sunday School Classes

Hours 9:15am to 12:15pm with occasional work until 1pm.

Must pass national background check

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Experience: Life experiences appropriate to the position; Experience working with developmentally disabled persons preferred.

Previous customer service experience is preferred

Providing customer service to our Foot Locker Retail Store Associates as they place orders for their customers

Ability to acquire a CPR/ First Aid certification and a food handlers permit

Perform household responsibilities to include meals, general cleaning and minor maintenance necessary to keep children safe

Assist in academic programming and supervision during school hours and complete requirements of teacher's aide license

Supervise and interact with 6 to 7 children with emotional and/or behavioral problems in a home-like environment

Engage and positively interact with children on a daily basis

Teach and assist with activities of daily living

Develop and run behavioral programming

Demonstrate open and effective communication with management, colleagues, Care management team, Care Pros, clients and family members.

One year experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively

Follow up with potential clients and family members to “nurture” leads.

Maintain ongoing communication and a consistent follow-up schedule with potential clients and families who have yet to commit to service.

Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of a client’s care.
