Neuemoon Health’s mission is to empower young girls & women suffering from complex gynecological illnesses (like endometriosis and uterine fibroids) to live healthier lives. Many women, unfortunately, suffer from debilitating symptoms—such as abnormally painful and heavy periods, bladder & bowel issues, painful sex, etc—for years before they are officially diagnosed. For example, it takes 8 years for endometriosis and 3.6 years for uterine fibroids. And even after the diagnosis, oftentimes, women would be prescribed ineffective treatment by doctors while the underlying disease progresses. The delay in proper diagnosis and treatment often leads to diseases progressing to the point of needing more aggressive surgeries, such as hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) or oophorectomy (removal of the ovary). This is simply not right. And Neuemoon Health exists to fix this.

About The Role

As the Research & Data Entry Analyst, you will help empower women to find the best care they deserve. One of the challenges women face is not being able to find the provider who can provide the best care for their conditions, so we’re building a provider’s directory to help women do just that.You'll also support the customer discovery process by researching a list of contacts and drafting outreach messages.

This is a contract position for 3 months (5–10 hrs/week) with an hourly rate of $15 to start.

Responsibilities

• Draft outreach messages/emails for customer discovery interviews
• Research provider’s info across various platforms: search engine, online listing, non-profit listing
• Research to identify advocates, support groups, social media influencers, products, and other resources related to endometriosis and fibroids and maintain the database
• Input the data into the database behind Neuemoon’s website and app
• If necessary, it might require calling up the provider’s office to verify the information
