Marketing Data Analyst (Mixpanel Expert)

We deliver 100% grass fed, pasture-raised, environmentally regenerative beef, chicken and pork and sustainably caught, wild seafood directly to our customers’ doors. We have incredibly ambitious standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from all chemicals.
Job Overview:
As a Marketing Data Analyst at Paleovalley you will use analytic and technical skills to innovate, build, and keep well-managed data solutions and capabilities to supply actionable insights to help drive business growth. You will use analytical ability and critical thinking skills to translate data into critical insights that will make our marketing more effective and efficient. In partnership with the broader growth marketing team, you will be instrumental in influencing business outcomes and strategy using reporting and data visualization tools & techniques. The important work that you will spearhead is essential to the business, helping us establish the best path forward.
Key Responsibilities:
● Analyze and interpret data related to marketing campaigns, website traffic, customer behavior, and sales trends
● Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by creating and supporting data quality control processes
● Work closely with the marketing team to find key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply ongoing analysis and insights to inform marketing strategy and decision-making
● Work with go-to-market leadership to identify their teams’ data and reporting needs
● Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and key metrics
● Identify areas of opportunity and improvement based on data insights
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities to improve data collection and analysis processes
● Designing and implementing data-driven solutions that help us optimize our e-commerce platform and improve our customer experience
● Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis
● Stay up to date with all Mixpanel functionalities and updates
● Work closely with product development team to ensure that new products meet customer needs and preferences
REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field
● 1+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a marketing or e-commerce environment
● Expertise in using MixPanel.com and other analytical tools to track and analyze customer behavior
● Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to company executives
