Baptist Health is looking for a Research Contracts Specialist in Lexington to join our team!

Under the direction of the Research Finance Manager, the Research Contracts Specialist performs contract management services for funded and unfunded clinical research performed at Baptist Health in association with, but not limited to, pharmaceutical/biotechnology corporations, federal agencies, foundations and other sponsoring entities.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

• 1-3 years related work experience, preferably in contract administration (Experience should be in a hospital or academic research institution. Preference to be given to candidates with contract management/negotiation experience and/or health law experience)
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing both clinical and non-clinical research preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferably in the field of healthcare administration, finance or Associate degree in paralegal studies with 3–5-year experience required.
• Desired Qualifications: Juris Doctorate
