Replenishment Director

Summary: The Replenishment Director is generally responsible for client business growth by ensuring smooth flows of inventory between the client supply chain/logistics teams and supported retailers by identifying service concerns and issues and developing solutions that can be operationalized by the client logistics and supply chain teams.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Replenishment and Logistics Leadership

·Access, analyze and interpret business indicators related to shipments, inventory, share and consumption on a weekly and trend basis.

·When appropriate, assist in joint business planning (JBP) to identify improvement opportunities based on historical performance gaps.

·Identification and tracking of KPIs of 97.5% In-stock, 98% Fill Rate, an 98% On-time performance across assigned client base with actionable intelligence for issue resolution.

·Weekly Customer Communication on low in-stocks, order trends, reporting on new & deleting Items, correction of errors, and alignment on seasonal buy-ins.

·Demand Planning to include Strategic Inventory Analysis, Brand Planning, Seasonal & Promotional Strategies, Store Specific Orders (SSO), & Weekly Low Inventory Reporting (LIR) to provide clients with Weekly Cut Reports that include Root Cause Analysis & Back In-Stock (BIS) Dates.

·Focus on reduced returns / Mark Downs (RTMD) through close relationships with Walmart Replenishment Managers to appropriate tactics are in place for problem situations.

·Manage 3PL service levels and inventory and forecast.


CLIENT TEAM SUPPORT:

·Support of NAMs in execution of Omni commerce strategy’s across all appropriate clients: Item Cleanup, Order Processing, In-stock & Fill Rate Tracking, Calibrate with Demand Planning on Seasonal & Promotional Demand

·Minimize involvement from Leadership in replenishment issues by keeping Leadership enrolled without engagement when unnecessary

·Serve as the primary interface with Client replenishment personnel and HG NAMs

·Assist in new client setup and establishment in Walmart (and other retailer) systems through qualified guidance and direct execution of vendor setup, or NAM & client coaching of required processes

·Assist in new item setups (NAM responsible) through retailer systems knowledge

·Plan & lead weekly Omnichannel Supply Chain Meetings with clients to align retailer specific promotions, Modular Updates, Distribution Planning Meetings, & Line Review support

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·Four- year Degree in supply chain or related field or equivalent related experience.

·5-7 years strong analytical and organizational experience in a replenishment role

·Ability to determine the daily priorities, understanding how and when to reprioritize quickly when needed.

·Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment, blended with on-site work as appropriate and required.

·Expert level with MS Office (emphasis on Excel and PPT)

·Understanding of retail performance metrics, replenishment strategies, and a solid knowledge and understanding of inventory management.

·Experience in leading replenishment strategy and carrying out tactics in a collaborative team environment.

·Experience in a team environment as well as the ability to work autonomously.

·High level understanding of warehousing, logistics, and inventory relative to order processing, distribution and delivery of orders for both pre-paid and collect clients.

·Experience contributing to and/or managing special projects including those that require multiple skills and varying levels of complexity, collaboration, and leadership.

·Demonstrated ability to effectively complete all assigned daily responsibilities in a high-pressure and fast paced environment with changing demands and challenging systems data.

·Superior customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) and empathetic customer communication approach.

·Ability to tell a story with data and develop the “customer ask” in a clear, concise way.
