What Hold Edit - Contract and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health

Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer and vendor contract administration, customer and vendor pricing, rebates, billing (including drop-ships), processing chargebacks and vendor invoices, developing and negotiating customer and group purchasing contracts.

• Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
• Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
• Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
• Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

Accountabilities

• Maintain timely filing Write Off’s for outstanding claims that have shipped but not billed.
• Review account holistically to determine hold reasons & course of action.
• Outbound phone work to doctor offices as well as customers depending on need.
• Validate information in account and correct for billing/EDI purposes.
• Track trends and provide feedback to other areas of the business to better the billing flow.
• Send out documentation to doctor offices and to customers depending on need.
• Review outstanding claims that have shipped but not billed due to documentation not being satisfied.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in related field (RX Experience preferred not required)
• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred

Internet requirements include the following:

Maintain a secure, high-speed, broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) at the remote location. Dial-up, satellite, WIFI, Cellular/Hot Spot connections are NOT acceptable.

Download speed of 15Mbps (megabyte per second) (25Mbps – Minimum) but (50Mbps – Recommended) if nobody else at home streaming.
