Remote - Pharmacy - Patient Registration Specialists

A highly reputable pharmacy specialty corporation is currently hiring four Remote Pharmacy - Patient Registration Specialists / Pharmacy Assistants to work remotely in the United States.

Essential Job Functions :

• Being a detective to find the missing info to push the order the through and take out of pending status.
• Verifying coverage and or might need to resubmit the information for proper authorization.
• Following up with the doctor and requesting additional information if needed.
• Reaching out to patients to confirm the information they have is correct and or update the patient information.
• Payor Mix: TriCare , BCBS, United, Covermymeds-Part D
• Working with patients that are missing documentation from their referral for their pharmacy services.

Required Skills :

• Previous experience with Cover My Meds authorization portal preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to details - providing accurate and efficient results.
• Basic to Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Previous experience working as a medical assistant / patient registration in medical office preferred but not required

Hours are based on which time zone:

Staff starting as early as 7:00am-8:00am and work as late as 5:00pm
