Remote Payroll Clerk Jobs

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages, and ensuring employees receive their pay on time.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Manage compensation packages using payroll software.
2. Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
3. Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime.
4. Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate.
5. Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
6. Prepare and distribute employee statements of earnings and deductions.
7. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
1. Proven experience as a payroll clerk or payroll manager.
2. Familiarity with general accounting principles.
3. Experience in data collection, entry, and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality.
4. Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
5. Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.
6. Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
7. Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
