Job Description

SynSel is a leading developer, technology integrator, and owner/operator of biorefineries located throughout the United States and Canada. Our mission is to produce high-quality biofuels that offer performance similar to fossil-based fuels while significantly reducing their carbon footprint. This position reports to the purchasing supervisor and other purchasing associates

Perform basic clerical and program-related tasks as assigned

Maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients while ensuring client confidentiality

Adhere to all Federal, State, City, and SynSel's security and privacy policies to safeguard individually identifiable information

Assist in maintaining records on contract requirements related to purchasing, vendors, and purchasing groups

Provide support in purchasing and procurement activities, including reconciling purchase orders and invoices

Enter data into the automated management information system and maintain an updated file system

Review purchase orders to identify programs for delivery

Log inventory of received deliveries/packages, ensuring accuracy before signing off on deliveries

Maintain accurate files of all order-related paperwork, including copies of Purchase Order forms, Program Request forms, and package receipts



High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent experience

Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and Outlook

Strong typing skills are essential
