Trilogy Federal seeks a Data Analyst to join our expanding team. Candidates will be responsible for working with large and complex data sets to support VBA Education Service research into Veteran outcomes and ROI. They will work closely with technical staff to understand the data environment and develop dashboards, reports, and program artifacts. They will collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external to the program team) in defining data requirements and will be responsible for development of business intelligence reports that support Institutional Research.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Have understanding of technical data architecture for data pipelining into self-service applications for reporting
• Must be able to collaborate with complex teams and to business requirements and translate into technical dashboarding requirements
• Business development and proposal support as required
• Evaluate data quality dimensions: completeness, validity, accuracy, timeliness, consistency and integrity against the data quality dimensions
• Identify and compile data sets to meet reporting requirements
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation regarding data conditioning of raw data to consumable data(including calculated data columns in PowerBI)
• Helps to support guidelines for data management, governance and reporting
• Responsible for working with data engineers and data scientist for tooling MS PowerBI desktop to meet client requirements and publishing it to PowerBI Cloud
• Profiling and analyzing the data to identify Data Quality issues
• Development of dashboards that support ongoing research papers and reports and provide ad hoc analytical requests
• Moderate proficiency in SQL and DAX and be able to extract & validate data using SQL query

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Database experience in at least one RDBMS
• 5 years relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
• The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Must be able to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
• Data mapping, data modeling and data profiling skills
