Junior Analyst (Biology/Pharmaceutical)-Dash-Remote

ERG’s work on Data Analysis Search Host (DASH) projects at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) provides reliable, timely information on drug’s product history. FDA uses DASH data to advance public health – by researching and improving regulatory science, and by answering questions that help stakeholders improve drug development. ERG’s Junior Analysts provide accurate data collection, operational support, and subject matter expertise for DASH.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Data collection (most of the work), for example:

• Follow policies and procedures that keep data secure
• Validate and verify data
• E nter and update data in project databases
• Gather primary source documentation from internal and external databases

Reports And Data Analysis, For Example

• Update existing reports
• Respond to requests for data
• Analyze differences between DASH and other FDA databases, and summarize findings
• Develop other data reports as needed

Database enhancement and maintenance, for example:

• Develop and improve data entry protocols
• Help design and test improvements to project databases

Qualifications ERG will train staff on the data, databases, and procedures that we use for DASH. To join our team, qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree (major in a biomedical or health science preferred)
• Skills

• Able to learn scientific concepts and terminology
• Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Able to concentrate and work accurately and efficiently for lengthy periods
• Abilities
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to obtain security clearance
• Able to work effectively with diverse project and client teams
• Excellent attention to detail

Working Conditions At ERG, we provide a friendly, supportive work environment that helps us all to learn, grow, and succeed. For this position, ERG’s project team works remotely from home. ERG has multiple office locations if working in that environment is preferred . Dress is casual or business casual.

We work with sensitive data. All project team members obtain a Public Trust Level 5 security clearance, take FDA training on secure data management, and maintain strict confidentiality for sensitive information. Reports To

ERG team lead or contract manager for DASH projects.
