Position Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for assisting in company’s recruiting and talent acquisition methods and strategies. The role is responsible for finding, attracting and hiring new employees to fill open positions and meet company’s workforce needs and goals. The Recruiting Coordinator serves as the point of contact for Managers and Employees for their questions regarding Company hiring policies and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the initial candidate screening process.
  • Responsible for related HR functions related to recruiting, training and retention.
  • Schedule and coordinate on-site orientations.
  • Plan and coordinate on-site interviews and recruiting events.
  • Coordinate screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
  • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes.
  • Conducts employment related searches with electronic and other methods of recruiting.
  • Represent and promote BirchStone Management by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting data from applicants.
  • Serves as a resource for recruitment policies, new hire process procedures and practices to managers and supervisors.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other recruitment-related events.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative and productive relationships with peers, field operations and company management.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Phone and online meeting platform skills
  • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
  • Customer-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Professional fluency in English with good oral and written communication skills. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft applications- Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to work as a member of team, with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds/gender while maintaining impartiality and objectivity.
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Must maintain high level of confidentiality and handle privileged information in a professional manner
