Position Summary
We are currently seeking a professional, experienced, and effective Regional President for our California and Nevada Divisions’ homebuilding operations reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Richmond American Homes. This position will oversee Division Presidents in managing all aspects of the division operations in order to ensure maximization of company profits including Land, Construction, Sales, Customer Experience, etc. Most importantly, the position provides leadership to, direction for, and administration of the division leaders to manage activities to ensure accomplishment of objectives.
This position may office from our Irvine, CA, Corona, CA, Suisun City, CA, Sacramento, CA, or Las Vegas, NV locations and travel between these locations will be required.
Responsibilities
Maximize profits through overseeing established business plans, achievement of forecasts, and management of the division leadership. Communicate with corporate office to achieve corporate goals as well as regional/division goals. Ensure Divisions are in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as wells as with federal, state, and local regulations. The position will lead and provide regular reports and updates to the Corporate office regarding regional/division activities. Overall responsibility for driving recruitment, hiring, staff development, evaluation, discipline, compensation recommendations, terminations, and retention of division leadership and staff. Will maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to keep current in latest issues related to industry. Overall, responsible for leading a group of Division Presidents to achieve results, growth, and success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (business, marketing, finance, or related field) Experience: At least 10 years production homebuilding experience and in a senior management role; should include: Finance, Sales, Construction, Land, or Purchasing, etc. In addition, should have 2-3 years experience as a Division President responsible for all P&L. Leading Knowledge of organization policies, procedure, systems, and objectives. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques. Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements. Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising. Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, problem-solving, and decision making.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with management, staff, board of directors, policy-making bodies, banking personnel, and the public. Must have outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate and drive other managers.
