Working location: full remote (hybrid an option if close to an Aptar location)

What’s new with Aptar
We have an exciting position open for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for all activities and resources of the Payroll Department ensuring accurate payroll processing for 2,600 U.S and Canadian employees. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for acting as a Subject Matter Expert in their regional Payroll scope. The Payroll Specialist would require knowledge and expertise of payroll processes, granting support to different stakeholders among the organization and assure process completeness.
This is how your journey with Aptar begins:
- Assist in end-to-end Payroll processes completion within timeframe and following established standards and methodologies. Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) agreed for HR Services.
- Execute controls / verifications throughout payroll process according to best practices and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to complete any payroll related processes (e.g., Finance).
- Assist in annual payroll activities, such as data entry, legal reporting generation and new year calendar creation.
- Provide second level of support within HR Services for Customers who seek support on requests which require subject matter expertise.
- Take ownership of complex cases escalated by Tier 1 Service Delivery, conduct analysis, and provide efficient resolution of requests in a timely manner. Escalate requests to third level of support in case additional support is required.
- Run payroll calculation and validate results performing required adjustments when required.
- Perform payroll data entry in payroll system before established cut-off date.
- Maintain required documentation and participate on knowledge management activities (e.g., training).
What you will bring on the journey
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a Shared Services Center environment (is a plus)
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources/Accounting/or related field
- Experience in Payroll Process / Activities (2 years) -- Ceridian Dayforce highly desired
- Knowledge on SuccessFactors, Payroll Systems and Ticketing Tools ( is a plus)
