Learning Jungle is seeking a recruiter for our US childcare centers. This individual will be responsible for our Talent Acquisition strategy for the United States, to support the increasing demand at our childcare centers. You will be in charge of the full cycle recruitment for Learning Jungle from sourcing candidates through various job portals, prescreening, conducting interviews, releasing offer letters and other recruitment related support. This is a hands-on role, and an opportunity to work with a great team and an even better support system!
Responsibilities
- Select qualified job applicants and transitioning the candidate to the managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
- Develop a streamlined process that works for both the recruiter and team they are supporting.
- Perform searches and interviews for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews with candidates and demonstrate the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
- Deep understanding of building sourcing strategies to identify and hire top talent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills and can influence at all levels.
- Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes that fit within our mission to deliver the highest quality results to the center.
- Proven track record to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization, and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications, and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills
- Prior experience in the development, planning and execution of recruitment strategies.
Nice to Have's or willing to Learn!
- Full understanding of the early childhood development field (education, experience, ratio, age groups, certifications/trainings, and what LJ is exactly looking for in Qualified Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Director, and Assistant Director roles).
- Childcare Funding and State Laws (Eg: Wage Rates need to be posted, Background Check documentations, etc.)
- Understanding of different Role Requirements – Certifications/Units Required for Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, etc.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
